a premiere performance by one of America's most celebrated storytellers
presented by the Seattle Storytellers Guild

Journey to the West is the most famous of Asian epic tales. It is known to every Chinese person and most Asians. On the surface it is the tale of a T'ang priest who goes on a 16 year journey to India to better understand Buddhism. Diane's rendition emphasizes the relationships of the adventurers along the journey.
Diane Wolkstein, New York City's Official Storyteller, will be giving a premiere performance of Journey to the West in Edmonds, WA on Wednesday October 15th at 7:00pm. We would love for you to attend this special performance. The first performance is always very auspicious and thrilling and will be followed by a discussion.
